Study Visit to Museum Negara on 22 July 2014

Architectural Imprint Project is assigned to Architecture Design Studio 4 students and they are to design an Interpretive Visitor Center at Lukut historical site, Port Dickson. In order to conduct preliminary studies on this project, a study visit was conducted to Museum Negara, Kulala Lumpur. En. Wandi, previous head of Museum Lukut was invited to give his lecture on the historical background of Kota Lukut and its’ Museum. Students were excited to give him questions for them to be more clear on the said discussion. He shared very useful information and opinions that was also highlighted by students for their first and second stage of project, historical background and site analysis.

Design Studio 4 Team was having a memorable moment with E. Wandi after his informative lecture.

After having lecture with En. Wandi, the team explored the Museum exibition. Students were observing and taking notes on the useful input for them to learn for the continuing design project. This visit was successfully conducted as planned and it plays a very important contribution to the overal design studio 4 project.

Students enjoyed observing the Museum Negara exibition.
